The War of the Worlds

The War of the Worlds chronicles the events of a Martian invasion as experienced by a male narrator and his brother.

The War of the Worlds was first serialized in 1897 and has never been out of print since. The novel has spawned TV-series, comic books and radio dramas. The 1938 radio dramatization by Orson Welles is probably the most famous that allegedly caused panic among listeners who did not know the Martian invasion was fictional.
