Jane Eyre was orphaned as a child and has felt an outcast her whole young life. When she is offered the position of governess at Thornfield Hall, an estate resembling a medieval castle. She has been hired by the owner, Edward Rochester to care for his ward Adèle. Jane falls in love with him, but there is a terrible secret at Thornfield Hall.
